Getting Back Up was founded in 2011 by Scott Fedor after he sustained a complete spinal cord injury in July 2009 as a result of a diving accident. While living in a nursing home all of his physical therapy services were discontinued by his insurance. He was left to rely on the generosity of others to get the therapy services and products he needed to continue on his road to recovery.
